For our client, a global Telecommunications company based in Munich, we are currently hiring a Mixed Signal Design Engineer on a permanent basis.

Your Tasks:

- Create bottoms-up elements of chip design
- RC extraction and schematic-to-layout verification and debugging
- Troubleshoot design issues and apply proactive intervention.
- Hands-on layout and verification of CMOS circuit blocks
- Transfer circuits into photo masks using Cadence/Virtuoso
- Perform additional verifications using Mentor/Calibre and mixed signal.

Your Skills:

- A master or bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or Physics
- Work experience in IC physical design of at least 4 years is required, preferably on mixed-signal or power delivery circuits
- Expert know how in analog/mixed-signal and RF/high-speed layout
- Expert know how on modern analog physical design systems and Cadence tools
- Cadence knowledge – Virtuoso XL is a must have
- Technical experience in Cadence Design Framework and Calibre
- Know-how of silicon technology and physical effects influencing the layout -
- Proficiency in device reliability and aging mechanisms
- Fluent written and spoken in English
