For our client from the electronic design and test industry, we are looking for Optoelectronic Test & Assembly Technician (m/f/d) in Böblingen.
Tasks:
- Successfully completed technical training in mechatronics, precision mechanics, industrial mechanics, or a comparable qualification/experience
- Interest in developing or expanding knowledge in optical or electronic components, especially diode and laser manufacturing
- Independent, systematic, and responsible working style, along with strong teamwork skills and willingness to take ownership and responsibility
- Knowledge and/or experience in micro-assembly and/or micro-alignment
- Knowledge and/or experience with measurement equipment, test system operation, and technical support
- Experience handling small and sensitive components with care; strong fine motor skills
Responsibilities:
- Independently assemble complex optomechanical and optoelectronic assemblies based on technical documentation and work instructions
- Operate various manufacturing processes and/or measurement and testing systems
- Analyse occurring failures and initiate initial corrective actions
- Handle and provide technical support for test systems as part of your responsibilities
