We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer (m/f/d) to support an international development team working on industrial printing systems and workflow software.
In this role, you will contribute directly to the quality and stability of complex, real-world printing solutions used in professional production environments.
Given the reduced working hours, we are seeking a candidate with strong hands-on test automation expertise and the ability to work independently with minimal onboarding.
Your responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for industrial print systems
- Test web-based operator interfaces, print job management, media handling, and connectivity features
- Plan, implement, execute, and document automated test cases within existing frameworks
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including UX, development, QA, and service engineering
- Contribute to improving overall test strategy, stability, and product quality
- Execute tests in virtualized and cloud-based environments (Azure), including emulated printer controllers
Your profile
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in test automation in complex software systems
- Strong hands-on knowledge of at least one of the following:
- C#, Python
- Playwright, Jest, Robot Framework
- Experience with UI and integration testing
- Understanding of usability and system-level testing
- Comfortable working in distributed / international teams
- Strong English communication skills (German is a plus, not required)
- Proactive, structured, and able to work independently
