For our client, a leading international company in the hospitality and technology industry, we are seeking a Strategic Partnerships Associate (m/f/d) - DACH & CEE for a temporary position based in Berlin.

Ref.: 116372

We are looking for a Strategic Partnerships Associate to support partnership and policy engagement across DACH & CEE, with a focus on the German-speaking markets.

This role is a key member of a multi-disciplinary campaign team, responsible for advocating policy positions and coordinating strategic partnerships both internally and externally.

You will work closely with other functional experts across governmental affairs and communications to advance our mission in the region. The role also requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and alignment across initiatives.

You will report to the Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager, DACH/CEE, and work alongside other cross-functional team members across the region.

In this role, you will engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, both within and outside the company. You'll need to quickly grasp our value proposition, work proactively with government and tourism bodies to support policy efforts, and help stakeholders understand the broader value our organisation brings to communities.

This is a high-impact position ideal for someone with excellent project and event management skills and a track record of driving successful partnerships in business, policy, or advocacy settings. Experience in a political, governmental, or regulatory environment is highly valued.

Travel across Central and Eastern Europe should be expected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support strategic partnerships and initiatives with public and private stakeholders in the fields of tourism, economic development, sustainability, and innovation across DACH & CEE, aligned with our long-term policy goals
  • Represent our organisation in external meetings with institutional and tourism partners, communicating our values and advancing strategic initiatives
  • Coordinate agency and vendor relationships (e.g., agencies, designers, photographers), ensuring they are well-briefed and aligned with team objectives
  • Event management: Plan, coordinate and execute high-impact policy events with partners - from intimate round-tables and stakeholder workshops to major industry conferences like ITB Berlin

Tasks include:

  • Drafting invitations, briefing materials, speaking notes, and social media copy
  • Liaising with creatives (designers, photographers, videographers) to ensure on-brand deliverables
  • Maintaining guest lists, tracking RSVPs, managing communications with guests, and overseeing event logistics
  • Providing on-the-ground support during events and ensuring timely post-event follow-ups
  • Ensure clear ownership and close collaboration with internal teams - especially Communications, Public Policy, and Legal - delivering results in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in project/event management and/or stakeholder engagement, ideally within travel, urban development, technology, or the public policy space
  • Proven experience in managing partnerships with external organisations or institutions
  • Demonstrated ability to work on cross-functional projects, working effectively across teams and geographies
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - with the ability to draft briefing materials, speaking notes, and social media copies
  • Adept at operating independently, taking ownership, and delivering results amid ambiguity
  • Self-starter with high levels of initiative, professionalism, and adaptability under pressure
  • Candidates must speak fluent German (Native mandatory) and English. Speaking another CEE language is an asset
