For our client, a famous company in the semiconductor sector, we are looking for a PCB Supplier Development Engineer (m/f/d) in Böblingen.
Your Tasks:
- Develop and manage PCB suppliers, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery requirements are met
- Conduct audits of existing and new suppliers, including evaluation of production processes, material quality, and manufacturing capabilities
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (R&D, Manufacturing, Quality) to ensure product requirements are fulfilled
- Analyze production and quality metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and initiate corrective actions
- Support qualification projects for new PCB suppliers and their ramp-up to series production
- Assist in supplier evaluations, certifications, and continuous performance improvement
Your Qualification:
- Technical degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related fields
- Several years of experience in PCB supplier development, management, or audits
- Strong knowledge of PCB technologies, manufacturing processes, and material requirements
- Experience conducting supplier audits and working with quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, etc.)
- Analytical mindset, structured work approach, strong communication, and assertiveness
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with SAP, PLM systems, or CAQ is a plus
