For our client in the Duisburg area, we are looking for a System Integration (Engineering - Integration of Third Party Development)
Your Tasks:
- Planning, provisioning, rollout, and further development up to the handover to operations
- Initial data provisioning
- Adapting solutions to the operational requirements of the IT organization (e.g., providing reports)
- Integrating additional or new hardware/software and services into the existing system environment
- Planning, developing, and providing all prerequisites that ensure defined availability, recovery capability, and restart procedures
- Creating application documentation (e.g., operating concepts, operations manuals including backup, reinstallation, recovery procedures)
- Initial creation of knowledge base articles
- Integrating solutions into ITSM processes (e.g., Incident Management, Change Management, IT Service Continuity Management)
- Creating Requests for Change (RfCs)
- Supporting the analysis and resolution of issues/incidents within 2nd and 3rd level support
- Managing and communicating with service providers/suppliers
- Quality assurance of delivered hardware, software, and services
Your Skills:
- Comprehensive IT knowledge and strong technical understanding of hardware and software
- Ongoing training in relevant areas (e.g., client/server, programming, databases)
- Detailed knowledge of assigned applications
- Strong technical understanding and experience with infrastructure services and products, including their implementation
- Good knowledge of system technical interfaces
- Solution oriented mindset and working approach
- Enthusiasm for innovative technology development
- Sense of responsibility
- Customer orientation
- Ability to work in a team
- Experience in technical support
- Clear and reliable communication with service providers/suppliers
- Proficiency in English and German
