For our client, a famous company in the semiconductor sector, we are looking for a Business Analyst - Data & Analytics (m/f/d) in Böblingen.
Your tasks:
- Work closely with global business stakeholders to translate business needs into data-driven solutions and analytics use cases
- Analyze complex datasets using tools such as SQL, Python, and BI platforms to generate actionable insights that support strategic decision-making
- Design and maintain KPI frameworks, dashboards, and reporting solutions using tools such as Power BI
- Support the development of modern data platforms and data pipelines in collaboration with IT and data engineering teams
- Contribute to the design of the global data model and data architecture as part of the company's digital transformation
- Ensure transparency regarding data sources, data ownership, data lineage, and data definitions
- Identify data quality issues and root causes and define improvement measures
- Support data cleansing, harmonization, and migration initiatives in transformation projects
- Define and maintain data definitions, metadata, and KPI logic in the global data catalog
- Act as the interface between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure that data solutions deliver business value
- Support the development of a scalable data ecosystem to strengthen the organization's Digital Twin and analytics capabilities
- Promote a data-driven culture by enabling business users to effectively leverage data and analytics
Your Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field
- Min 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Business Intelligence Analyst
- Strong experience in data analysis and translating business requirements into data products or analytics solutions
- Hands-on experience with data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, Excel, or similar
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Understanding of data models, databases, and modern data architectures (e.g., Azure, Databricks, data lakes or lakehouses) is a plus
- Experience with data governance, data quality initiatives, or data cataloging
- Strong communication skills and ability to bridge business stakeholders and technical teams
- Fluent English required; German or Japanese is a plus
- Analytical mindset with the ability to transform complex data into business insights
