For our client, a famous company in the semiconductor sector, we are looking for a Test and Validation Technician (m/f/d) in Böblingen.

Your Role:

As a Test and Validation Technician (m/f/d), you support the development of new products by planning, executing, and documenting tests in both electronic and mechanical domains. You work closely with development, quality assurance, and project management teams, contributing significantly to ensuring product functionality, reliability, and safety.

Your tasks:

Test Planning and Preparation:

  • Create, maintain, and continuously improve test plans and procedures
  • Set up test environments, including test circuits and mechanical fixtures
  • Select appropriate measurement and testing equipment

Test Execution:

  • Perform tests on electronic and mechanical systems
  • Evaluate functionality, performance, and durability of electronic assemblies, mechatronic systems, and mechanical components
  • Conduct environmental and stress tests (e.g., temperature, vibration, humidity, mechanical loads)
  • Identify faults and carry out troubleshooting on electronic and mechanical components

Data Collection and Documentation:

  • Analyze measurement data and prepare detailed test reports
  • Document deviations, issues, and observations during the testing process
  • Support root cause analysis and validation documentation

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with development, design, and quality management teams
  • Contribute ideas to improve products and testing processes
  • Participate in design reviews and validation meetings

Your Profile

Professional Qualifications:

  • Completed technical training (e.g., electronics technician, mechatronics technician, industrial mechanic, or similar)
  • Experience in testing and validation of electronic or mechatronic systems is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of measurement techniques, high-frequency technology, circuit diagrams, electronic components, and mechanical assemblies
  • Confident handling of measurement equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, data loggers, and test benches
  • Basic knowledge of software tools for data acquisition or test automation is a plus

  • Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • High level of accuracy, reliability, and sense of responsibility
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Good German and English language skills
