For our client based in Düsseldorf we are looking for a freelance Project Manager for Renewables (m/f/d).

#Project description:
The client is currently in the process of further expanding its wind and PV portfolio in Germany and possibly in neighboring countries. The aim is to build up an asset portfolio in the short term via M&A transactions with plants that will generate initial income by 2026 at the latest.


#Tasks:

• Information generation through project-related communication with internal interfaces with the aim of managing the technical and commercial due diligence in an M&A project.
• Technical advice on M&A targets:
• Identification and technical and commercial evaluation of wind and PV brownfield / existing assets for sale. Presentation of this information to Uniper and handover to Uniper for approval and final decision.
• Initiating and advising on the execution of transactions for the acquisition of wind and PV assets based on information provided by project developers and partners.
• Professional (commercial and technical) contact for project managers
• Expert advice on the preparation of profitability calculations (DCF) for existing wind and PV plants using Microsoft Excel:
• Cost breakdown for wind and PV assets.
• Preparation of a repowering concept
• Weekly reporting of the project progress and presentation of the profitability calculations of the project to the project manager/SVP using Microsoft Power-Point.

#Skills:

• Very strong stakeholder management
• Renewables experience (wind and/or PV) - Valuation of assets
• Project management experience before financial experience
• Financial knowhow Basics in relevant topics
• Language skills German & English.
• Nice to have: - M&A experience - Experience in large companies
