For our client, a leading company in the semiconductor sector, we are looking for a Global Project Manager (m/f/d) Digital Transformation based in Böblingen.
About the Role
You will lead strategic transformation projects across international teams, coordinating stakeholders from business functions, IT departments, and customer organizations. The role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to ensure smooth execution throughout all project phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage global transformation projects from initiation to completion
- Develop project charters and business cases, including value and ROI analysis
- Establish project governance structures and project organizations
- Define and implement target operating models
- Evaluate, select, and implement tools and digital solutions
- Develop and execute communication and change management plans
- Manage stabilization phases and validate project outcomes for final sign-off
- Plan and manage project budgets, timelines, resources, risks, and dependencies
- Coordinate cross-functional international teams and ensure alignment across stakeholders
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and objectives
- Travel internationally approximately 10-20% as required
Your Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable field
- Proven experience in project management using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Strong knowledge of project management tools and frameworks; certifications such as PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or similar are an advantage
- Demonstrated experience managing transformation projects in an international environment
- Strong planning, organizational, and coordination skills
- Proven expertise in change management
- Solid stakeholder, risk, and dependency management capabilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across global teams
- Fluent English skills, written and spoken; German and/or Japanese language skills are a plus
- Analytical and self-driven mindset with the ability to understand technical details while managing key business stakeholders
- Experience in Diversity & Inclusion management
- Strong teamwork and leadership skills with the ability to lead multiple cross-functional teams
