For our client, a leading global technology company in the semiconductor industry, we are looking for a Junior Process Analyst (m/f/d) in Böblingen.
Your tasks
As part of our global transformation, you will support the structured modelling and documentation of business processes. Working closely with process experts, business users and experienced colleagues, you will translate workshop outcomes, requirements, and existing ways of working into clear, consistent and reusable process models. This role offers a strong opportunity to build practical experience in process modelling standards, repository-based documentation and connected end-to-end process views within an international environment.
- Model business processes at activity level and below, based on input from workshops, interviews, existing documentation and business experts.
- Create and maintain current-state and target-state process models using agreed modelling standards and repository guidelines.
- Ensure process models are clear, consistent, connected and documented at the appropriate level of detail.
- Support the preparation and follow-up of process discovery and modelling workshops by structuring information, capturing outcomes and translating them into process documentation.
- Work with process owners, process experts, and business users to clarify roles, handovers, inputs, outputs and dependencies at activity level and below.
- Collaborate with data analysts and data modelers to combine data object flow and data attribute activity/task relations with the process flow.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of process modelling practices, templates and documentation quality.
Your background
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems or a comparable field.
- Initial practical experience in process modelling, process documentation, business analysis, project work, or transformation initiatives is required.
- Basic understanding of business process management, process modelling principles and structured documentation methods.
- Interest in modelling standards and methods such as BPMN, Lean or related approaches; relevant training or certification is a plus.
- Experience with process modelling tools, repositories, collaboration platforms, or documentation systems is an advantage.
- Ability to translate verbal input, notes and existing materials into clear, logical, and easy-to-understand process models.
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail and a structured way of working.
- Good communication and collaboration skills in an international environment.
- Very good English skills, written and spoken; German language is a plus.
