For our client, a leading global technology company in the semiconductor industry, we are
looking for a Senior Data Analyst (m/f/d) in Böblingen.

The project:
Our client has embarked on a digital transformation journey, which is a key enabler for our
continuous business growth. Our data is a very important part of the foundation we are building and
needs you to provide the required love and care.

Your Tasks:

  • Perform data profiling, data quality assessments, and exploratory data analysis (EDA) on source systems to identify trends, anomalies, data gaps, and quality issues.
  • Analyze complex business datasets and deliver actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Map source-to-target data flows and define transformation logic for data pipelines, data warehouses, reporting environments, and analytics platforms.
  • Design and maintain data models, Entity-Relationship Diagrams (ERDs), data dictionaries, and business data definitions.
  • Identify data inconsistencies, missing data, and data quality issues, and develop remediation strategies to improve data accuracy, completeness, and governance.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, partners, and suppliers to define data requirements, KPI frameworks, and reporting standards.
  • Support data governance initiatives, data catalog development, and data quality management processes.
  • Contribute to the development of scalable data architectures supporting global transformation programs and Supply Chain Control Tower initiatives.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and KPI monitoring solutions to enable data-driven business decisions.

Your Skills:

  • 5-8 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or similar data-focused role.
  • Experience in global transformation projects within Operations, Supply Chain Management, Human Resources, or Finance.
  • Strong expertise in data analysis, data quality management, data modeling, database design, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
  • Proven experience with source-to-target data mapping, data transformation logic, and data integration processes.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with reporting and visualization tools (Power BI).
  • Proficiency in Python, ETL frameworks, XML, and data processing methodologies.
  • Experience designing data models, ERDs, and data documentation standards.
  • Knowledge of data governance, master data management, and data quality frameworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Databricks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to bridge business and technical
  • requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in global, cross-functional environments.
  • Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken).
  • Strong understanding of how high-quality data drives business value and process efficiency.
