For our client, a leading company in the semiconductor sector, we are looking for a Global Project Manager (m/f/d) HC Application/HR Systems based in Böblingen.

Role Overview

As part of Advantest's global digital transformation journey, the Global Project Manager - Human Capital Implementation plays a key role in delivering end-to-end (E2E) Human Capital (HC) solutions. The position ensures successful planning, execution, integration, and testing of HC applications, while aligning cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and business objectives. The role requires strong leadership across global transformation initiatives, with responsibility for delivery on time, within scope, and budget.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks:

  • Lead and manage global Human Capital transformation projects as part of a digital transformation program
  • Develop project charters and business cases, including value definition and ROI analysis
  • Establish project organization structure, governance models, and delivery frameworks
  • Define and support the target operating model for HC processes and systems
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute implementation activities with focus on integration and testing of HC applications
  • Evaluate, select, and implement HR/HC tools and solutions in alignment with business requirements
  • Manage project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline tracking
  • Monitor project progress and ensure delivery of milestones within scope, time, and budget
  • Coordinate stakeholders across global teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment
  • Develop and execute communication and change management strategies
  • Oversee system stabilization, validation, and post-implementation enhancements leading to formal project sign-off
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between internal teams, customers, and external partners
  • Ensure consistent reporting and transparency to all stakeholders
  • Travel as required (approx. 10-20%)

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

Must-Have Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Human Capital, or a related field
  • Proven experience in project management within waterfall and agile environments
  • Strong hands-on experience in implementation projects, especially integration and testing phases
  • Demonstrated experience in Human Capital application implementation
  • Knowledge of HR systems (Workday experience is a strong plus)
  • Solid experience in stakeholder management, risk management, and dependency management
  • Proven change management experience in transformation projects
  • Strong planning, organizational, and execution skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in global, cross-cultural environments
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
  • Strong command of Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, or similar (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project management certifications (PRINCE2, Scrum Master, PMP, or equivalent)
  • Experience in Human Capital transformation initiatives
  • Experience working in large-scale global transformation programs
  • German and/or Japanese language skills are a plus
